We typically recommend using a simple Overhand Knot or Overhand Loop Knot when installing our swings and hanging daybeds. Our standard rope lengths are sized with these knot styles in mind and are designed to provide the appropriate amount of rope for most installations when tied during the final setup process.
If you prefer to use a more decorative or complex knot, please keep in mind that additional rope will be consumed in the knot itself. In these situations, we recommend purchasing extra rope length to ensure your swing or daybed can still be installed at the desired height.
Because every installation is unique, we do not provide specific knot-tying instructions or installation recommendations beyond general guidance.
