California Proposition 65 Warning Information

California’s Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses to provide warnings for products that may expose consumers to chemicals identified by the State of California as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

You may see Proposition 65 warnings on a wide variety of everyday products, including furniture, electronics, tools, automotive products, and household goods. In many cases, the warning is provided out of an abundance of caution to comply with California regulations.
